2015 Demo Dates Announced……. and its a little different this year!!January 26, 2015 6:27 pm Leave your thoughts
For the last few years we have held out Windsurfing Demo days whilst Hunstanton’s Lifestyles event is taking place. Last year we were a little disillusioned as the event, we felt, lost its way a little and local windsurfers attendance dropped to an ‘all time ‘ low.
This meant we had to rethink what we did for 2015 – and I thiunk we might have cracked it!
The dates for our Demo weekend is Saturday/Sunday June 27th-28th. We will be holding it at Hunstanton Sailing Club and will have Fanatic, Severne and RRD in attendance with a good selection of boards, sails, and SuP’s to try. We will be joining forces with Hunstanton Watersports for the Demo and they will be attending with Kite kit and SuP’s to try.
We are bringing the National BSA Slalom Racing Series back to Hunstanton for the event and will have the top UK racers there to entertain us and join in at the party we will be having at the club Saturday Evening. Entry will be FREE (a day pass for the Club will be required if you want to use their showers etc for non members) and there will be a great live band to entertain the 150-200 people expected to attend what is essentially ‘The Norfolk Watersports Demo’.
Camping is available at Searles so you can enjoy the whole weekend with us and if there is no wind we will be organising Stand Up Paddleboard Racing and group coastal runs from Old Hunstanton to Hunstanton Sailing Club. You don’t need a SuP as we have plenty on offer to try – you can even be a complete beginner!!

To join forces with Hunstanton Watersports to spread costs and increase attendance makes perfect sense to us all. It also allows us to put a better evening event on and its right in the middle of the Summer. Its gonna be fantastic!
Wives, children, friends are all welcome to come along and try the kit on offer so lets make this NEW local event SUPER SUCCESSFUL!!
