Recently you may have noticed Severne as a brand has gone from strength to strength becoming the 3rd biggest brand worldwide in 2016. Part of that increase in market share has been the expansion of their range from just making windsurf sails in 2013 to now having a full range of hardware and software from extensions, booms, harness’s, and in 2016 branching out into windsurf boards in the form of the Severne NuEvo and the imminent Severne Fox.

The latest addittion to the range is wetsuits which I saw details of in August. The range consists of the Impact, Exo, Exo Skin and Primo. The Uk will only be stocking the Exo Skin and Primo as they come in 4/3 and 5/4 long sleeve versions. The Primo will be priced at £285 for either 4/3 or 5/4mm and the Exo Skin £265 for either 4/3 or 5/4mm.

From the outset Severne have made it clear these are NOT re-labelled ‘Other Brand’ but a ground up redesign specifically for windsurfers, something thats not done by the big 3 makers. This makes the wetsuits a better fit and far less prone to arm-burn common with windsurfers.

Severneshop Team Boss will be getting one from Severne Uk to test and Review over the coming weeks and so you will see him donned in a Severne wetsuit over the Winter. Neil commented “Once we have fully tested the wetsuit we will make a decision which ones to stock for 2018. Customers can pre order their wetsuit over the coming 7 month’s for deliver late 2017.
