Massive Whale gets beached at our local sailing spot…

December 26, 2011 1:55 pm Published by Leave your thoughts

Neil and Steve took a trip out to Hunstanton Boxing Day for a quick sail but sadly the wind never kicked in, but Neil stayed on and went round to Old Hunstanton to see massive Sperm Whale which had been beached at Old Hunstanton. This 35 tonne, 45ft mammal was washed up on Christmas Eve and has attracted huge crowds viewing this wonder of nature.
The Whale probably died up near the Scottish coast as it made its way down from the Arctic but took a wrong turn and came down the east coast of the UK and not the Atlantic.
Take a look at this truly unbelievable spectacle.
