The “HyperGlide” is now the “Hyper”. This shift represents the progression from the early-day foil sail development to a podium-winning platform. Arriving in June, call to pre order.
The results are clear. Riding the HyperGlide, the Severne team won the following titles in 2023: PWA Mens Slalom World Champion, PWA Mens Vice World Champion, and PWA Womens Slalom World Champion.
The Hyper’s legacy is clear; it has achieved countless national, continental, and world titles over the years; and has formed the base for the current Olympic racing program.
Hyper 7 entry profiles flatter, deepening as you move back in the sail. This design tweak results in more glide and a slippery in-flight feeling. The low drag configuration is boosted by a more open area right above the boom. Altogether, this also generates less downforce on your board. More stability equals more speed.
Power delivery is neutral and intuitive, working with you across a wider wind range boosted by an Xtended range design. The benefit is a much smoother ride, but lock in the Hyper 7 and it will react decisively for a race-winning performance. Fly First Class.

CAN I USE THE HYPER 7 AS A FIN SAIL?
The Hyper 7 is specifically designed for foil slalom and thus not recommended to use as a “fin” windsurfing sail.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MACH 7 AND HYPER 7?
The Mach 7 is a slalom sail that is compatible with the foil. The Hyper 7 is a foil specific slalom sail.
DO SMALLER SIZES COME WITH SDM OR RDM CAMBERS?
All Hyper 7 sizes are delivered with SDM cambers.
CAN I USE A NON-SEVERNE MAST IN MY SAILS?
All of our development, testing, rigging, and tuning are done using Severne masts. We don’t test the performance or bend curves of other masts, and can not guarantee which performance or durability you can get out of your sail using a different brand mast. Therefore, we strongly recommend our customers use SEVERNE masts.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HYPER 7 AND THE FOILGLIDE?
The HYPER 7 is a race sail, The FoilGlide is a freeride sail.
The HYPER 7 has higher top speeds.
The HYPER 7 is heavier.
The HYPER 7has more battens and more cams.
