Our new “HMX” pre-preg carbon graphite extensions are light, feather-lite. As far as we know they are the lightest extensions in windsurfing. They have an incredible strength to weight ratio. With our first quality pre-preg carbon fibre material and our meticulous manufacturing process we have developed the strongest, lightest extensions possible. Compare the weight to any other like extension. The 2 centimetre adjustment settings are set with a hard anodised aluminium collar tethered with a spectra line to a stainless steel pin. Fail-safe and virtually break proof. Finally we attach our new beefy “Power-Six” super powerful 6:1 downhaul cleat with large diameter pulleys perpendicular for power, easy rigging and no crossed lines. A tough Dyneema “super downhaul” line is included.

This is the extension I use over the Severne ones. Why, well Andy Holland put me on to them and once I used them, I found the lightness but simplicity of them really nice. The only down side with using them on Severne Sails is that you have to flip the rig to tune the downhaul as the cleat is the wrong side for Severne Sails.
The other note I would point out is to say buy a Streamlined deck plate as they lock together better than a Severne deck plate does.
But don’t let this put you off – these are top drawer extensions!!
