Severne Fox windsurf board

In 2016 we saw Severne break into the board market with its revamped NuEvo wave board. The third board to be released in early 2017 was the Fox v1, a Freeride board designed to cut through messy chop with ease and deliver the high intensity freeride enjoyment real world windsurfers demand.

So when I was told that Ben and James were planning to bring the v2 board was a concern……to say the least. Why – well my freeride board of choice is the Fox 95 – a board I reviewed as the most dependable freeride board I’ve ever sailed….quite a statement!!. But the v2 Fox is essentially the same shape with some nice little additions. The shapes essentially remain the same, so the super popular double concave front nose with high apex rails keeps gybing easy and the straight side rails provide a very fast line. The board gains Hex 2 Footstraps (check out Hex 2 – its a great system!). The board gets a new precision G10 fin for each size of board and profiled deck pads for additional comfort on long reaches.

This on top of the coolest graphics to come out of the Severne stable to date makes the Fox v2 a serious proposition for any freeride windsurfer. The Fox v2 continues to benefit from the exclusive construction CMC (compression moulded construction) which has proven so durable the Cobra factory has bought the company who developed it.

We expect to get Fox v2 boards from Late January 2019 so reserve yours now……
